Base pay range
$190,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager with experience in Automotive & Assembly, and who has the leadership strength to guide a team in a lean manufacturing environment and the vision to scale operations for rapid growth. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Include:
Experience leading production teams of 100+ employees in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in operations or plant management in automotive, assembly, manufacturing &/or fabrication. Strong background in lean manufacturing & implementation, process flow design, and continuous improvement. Demonstrated success in scaling operations and meeting aggressive growth goals. Ability to hold people accountable, with consequences if needed. Experienced in creating KPI’s and A3s Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Hands-on technical knowledge of mechanical/automotive systems a plus EDUCATION : BS degree in Eng, Operations Management, or related. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
Lead a team of ~50 in production operations to deliver on customer commitments. Drive consistent throughput of both standard uplifts & highly customized builds. Develop & execute a roadmap for scaling operations to meet aggressive growth targets. Apply A3 thinking to assess current processes and design future-state systems. Systematically improve Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost Performance. Expand & implement Lean manufacturing practices to stabilize & optimize workflow. Meet monthly growth objectives. Implement rigorous Quality processes to ensure industry-leading standards, while integrating in-line quality control. Manage final inspection & vehicle testing prior to delivery. Hire and engage a skilled workforce to support scaling operations. Expand equipment utilization & process maturity in alignment with demand. Build strong communication, accountability & team culture. Drive operational cost savings through process improvements & waste reduction. Seniority level
