SPX Technologies
Overview
Sr. Electrical Engineer at SPX Technologies within Detection and Measurement. The role involves designing state-of-the-art products for the utility inspection market, utilizing embedded vision systems to create cutting edge complex designs. The Senior Electrical Engineer will design, debug, and test prototype components and circuit card assemblies while working in a cross-functional organization. Product designs involve the combination of motor control, analog, digital, and high-speed design. Senior Engineers may also provide work direction to other engineers, lead project teams, lead engineering-wide process improvements, write standards as a subject matter expert and be a product owner.
The Senior Electrical Engineer role involves occasional travel and requires the ability to work within commercial and scientific teams. The Senior Electrical Engineer must be capable of high-level, project-oriented system design and analysis. The role requires the ability to take ownership of and be responsible for many simultaneous system deliverables, including project planning, design, implementation, testing, documentation, validation and support. He/she must be a graduate in an applicable field with significant industry experience or equivalent.
What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities) SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact.
