Milwaukee Tool 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Description The Electronics Engineering Technician will support the concept engineering team through test development, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking. Responsibilities include configuring products and prototypes for testing, logging measurements for data collection and graphing, and assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying circuit board assemblies. Key Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and prepare small quantities of prototype power tool products for testing and evaluation based on procedures and specifications. Operate various types of electrical test equipment used to gather data, including oscilloscopes, data loggers, instruments, environmental chambers, and meters. Operate soldering equipment typically used for densely populated SMT circuits as well as wiring for power electronics. Develop expertise in SMT and PTH assembly and rework, keeping pace with tool designs. Operate lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and e-loads. Maintain lab equipment, tools, and inventory of electrical supplies. Perform basic circuit debugging and testing. Provide updates to Engineers on tasks. Manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Required Skills and Tools Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or High School diploma with 2+ years of experience. Experience in electronics assembly and modification. Knowledge of electronics testing methodologies and principles. Willingness to learn new skills. Ability to lift and manipulate 30 lbs. Preferred Skills Familiarity with power tools and construction trades. Experience supporting R&D projects. Ability to read electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and PCBA layouts (e.g., Altium). Basic skills in Altium for generating BOMs, gerber files, and layout modifications.
