Our Access Design team is seeking a strong Engineer to join the team. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Responsibilities
Assisting in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
Capital improvement planning including providing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic and signal operations analysis.
Obtaining, analyzing, PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit design criteria and procedures (HOP).
Assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
Reviewing construction sites to monitor progress and fulfill other duties per the contract documents.
Serving as on-site project representative.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
EIT, FE, or PE (not required, but preferred).
Knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, or OpenRoad).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid Driver’s License.
