is looking for a

Principal/ Sr Principal Structural Analysis Engineer

to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located onsite in

Clearfield, Utah . Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To Performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the program Ensuring that designs meet program requirements and are the lightest, lowest cost, and highest quality products consistent with schedule and budget objectives. May derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads and perform weight and stiffness optimization utilizing tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter and other software applications Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions. Basic Qualifications Principal Structural Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; or Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 3 years’ experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis Sr Principal Structural Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 8 years’ experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; or Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 6 years’ experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Preferred Qualifications Structural Analysis Experience in any of the following areas: Airframe, Crew Systems, Subsystems, and/or Structural Integrity Modeling, simulation, stress, cure modeling, deformation, warping with software Nastran, Abaqus, Convergent/Compro.
