Garver . As part of the Water Design Center, Garver is seeking an

Automation Specialist in Fayetteville, AR . You will be responsible for developing PLC and HMI programs supporting various projects for Garver’s Fayetteville Water Design Center. This role offers hands-on involvement with high-volume, custom plant projects and direct client interaction. **Responsibilities:** Develop PLC programming logic and SCADA HMI graphic screens for water and wastewater treatment control systems. Coordinate with electrical, I&C, process, and mechanical teams to meet project requirements. Design automation control systems, including P&ID drawings, network architecture, and control schematics. Implement PLC and SCADA HMI applications during system commissioning at project sites. Collaborate with contractors and plant operators during construction and commissioning. Maintain and update automation system documentation. Provide troubleshooting and technical support for instrumentation and automation systems. Some travel may be required for site assessments and project implementation. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude. **About Garver’s Water Design Center:** The Fayetteville Water Design Center specializes in high-volume, advanced water and wastewater treatment projects, fostering close communication and collaboration among team members to ensure quality and timely delivery. **Requirements:** Associate degree or technical education in a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial controls and automation. Experience developing PLC and HMI applications; familiarity with programs like Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, Schneider Unity Pro, GE iFIX, Wonderware, or Ignition is a plus. Proficiency in controls, instrumentation, and process control systems. Experience with Bluebeam and MS Office products. Strong communication skills. **Preferred Skills:** Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience with AutoCAD/Revit, field service, and water/wastewater treatment systems.
