Create and layout printed wiring boards (PWBs) for military / aerospace avionics and test applications. Update your direct Manager and the Program Engineering Manager on project progress. Work closely with circuit design engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure design accuracy and functionality. Participate in Peer Reviews and Design Milestone reviews during development. Qualifications for Engineer CAD CAM 3
At least 5 years of recent experience in PWB design layout with Cadence Allegro design tools; AA / AS degree or equivalent training with 5+ years of relevant experience; Familiarity with high density complex, multilayer boards (6-16 layers); Experience in layout / routing of digital and analog circuits, including power circuits; Proficiency in high speed digital and controlled-impedance circuits (SERDES, DDR3 / DDR4, etc); Experience with rigid-flex assemblies; Ability to prepare artwork (ODB++, Gerbers) for PWB fabrication; Extensive experience in footprint / symbol creation and library management; Understanding of IPC- and IPC- specifications; Eligibility for security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications for Engineer CAD CAM 3
Understanding of Printed Wiring Assembly manufacturing process; Familiarity with CAM and / or Valor DFM software tools; Experience with OrCAD Layout and Mentor PADS or Xpedition tools suites;
