Job Details We are an engineering firm seeking an experienced professional to lead electrical design projects from early planning through construction closeout. This role combines technical design expertise with project management responsibilities, ensuring high‑quality and coordinated deliverables for building systems projects.

Role Overview

Manage electrical engineering projects through all phases – programming, schematic design, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.

Design and oversee systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low‑voltage communications.

Work directly with clients, architects, and other consultants to develop project scope, budgets, and schedules.

Produce and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Provide construction‑phase support including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.

Support business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and contributing to presentations for new opportunities.

Preferred Project Experience

Higher education, K‑12, healthcare, commercial office, retail, hospitality, and multi‑family residential projects.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina, or ability to obtain licensure within the state.

Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD; proficiency in lighting design software as well.

Familiarity with SKM or similar power distribution modeling tools preferred.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and project teams.
