The Line Service Professional plays a vital role in daily operations and provides elite customer service to crew and passengers on the ground by fueling and positioning aircraft, assisting with luggage, and effectively communicating on the radio with customer service representatives. Million Air serves private, military, and commercial aircraft, and we strive to be a premier aviation service provider. Responsibilities
Greet passengers and crewmembers upon arrival Coordinate with coworkers, clients and vendors to provide ground services for general aviation aircraft (fueling, lavatory, ground power, potable water, and catering) Marshalling, towing and positioning aircraft on the ramp and in hangars Fuel movement—quality control, disposal, and paperwork Daily check and upkeep of crew cars and vehicles Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations Drive a shuttle vehicle with passengers Attend monthly crew meetings Complete annual re-current training Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Competencies
Customer focus — naturally outgoing Effective communication with customers and employees in person, on the phone, and via radio Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable (clean driving record) Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products Basic mathematical knowledge Bi-lingual preferred Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Line Service Manager. Work Environment
Outdoor work in all weather conditions with direct interaction with moving and non-moving aircraft. Potential exposure to hazardous noise, chemicals, fumes, and machinery. Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Possible exposure to hazardous noise, chemicals, fumes, and machinery Outdoor work in all weather conditions May involve bending, lifting, walking, kneeling, squatting, gripping, and climbing ladders Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Non-exempt position with shift work that includes evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays. Travel
No travel is expected for this position. Education, Experience, And Eligibility Qualifications
Customer service experience in the service industry preferred Prior aircraft ground handling experience a plus High School Diploma Entry-level position Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Acceptable driving record Ability to pass a background check Zero tolerance drug-free employer including pre-employment and random screening EEO Statement
