Primary Responsibilities
It is every BPM, Inc. Employee’s responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvac’s current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirements
Perform a wide range of inspection functions in accordance with approved procedures and/or instructions. These functions include but may not be limited to:
Receipt Inspection to include staging of parts and materials
In Process Inspections
First piece
Final
Final Inspection
Assembly Inspection
Process Surveillances
First Article part inspections
Training of inspectors
Gage Calibration and related control systems
Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving Activities
Quality System work instructions (inspection process)
Excellent Customer Service and support
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Knowledge Required to Perform Job:
Perform all Requirements of Inspector “B”
Knowledge and application of Trigonometry
Knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
Continuous Improvement Skills
Software specific PC skills
Excel, Microsoft Office, Access
SPC Software
RFCA and ERP databases
Basic SPC knowledge
Charting
Metrics
Terminology
Operation Excellence Problem Solving skills to include:
5 Why root cause analysis
FAST problem solving
Pareto
Cause-Effect charting
Histograms
5S Improvement and Audit
Coordinate Measuring Machine Skills
Ability to recover Direct Computer Control -CMM from emergencies, reset, troubleshoot using error codes
Advanced manual CMM skills
Proficient in inspection of parts in Xy, Xz & Yz Planes
Alignment of first and second axis, rotation of alignment, setting and moving origins (in all three axis)
Recovery from error codes and faults
CMM (PCDMIS) and Zeiss (Calypso) process inspections
Plan and schedule process surveillance activities
Education High school graduate or GED and Technical or College Credits
Experience
Must meet all requirements of Inspector “B”, with minimum of 3 years in the position, or equivalent experience
5 years experience as a qualified inspector in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work all shifts and travel on a continuous seven-day work cycle if needed
A complete working knowledge of Mathematics, Geometry and Trigonometry
Advanced CMM skills and experience
Visual acuity to perform inspection, read gauges and perform visual inspections
Windows, MS Office and Access experience
Work Arrangement: Onsite
