Job Title: Quality Engineer III Location: Simi Valley, CA (This position is 100% onsite) Base pay range: $82,500.00/yr - $153,000.00/yr Business Unit: Datron Schedule: 9/80 — Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off. Responsible for all aspects of the assigned Program as Quality Engineer, including internal quality performance objectives, customer interface, program IPT (Integrated Product Team), and program supplier quality support. Responsibilities

Schedule and maintain milestones and timeline tracking for key objectives. Perform Preliminary Reviews of DMRs and evaluate in-process rejections via QA Process procedures for Non-conforming Material and MRB Activity. Perform drawing control and CCB review activities for new and revised documents, ensuring customer notification of all changes. Perform Product Sell-Off including final work order test data package review prior to shipment to ensure product performance meets specified standards. Ensure program supplier quality issue resolution through coordination of resources and support of QC, Purchasing and Engineering groups. Interface with various company departments to assist in resolving quality problems and provide information to support ISO/AS9100 requirements. Interface with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and may perform internal and/or supplier surveys and audits. Analyze manufacturing performance and prepare management reports on quality trends and actions to improve. Ensure training of subordinate employees in quality or other required functions. Lead interdisciplinary teams to address quality problems via formal corrective and preventive actions (Customer, Internal or Supplier). Present oral and visual presentations during technical meetings. Support and implement added scope objectives and activities outlined by Quality Director. Education/Experience/Training

BS or MS degree with a technical emphasis preferred, with 8 years of related QA experience. In lieu of a degree, 10-12 years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience at a senior level. Preferred certifications in Quality Sciences (e.g., Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, ISO/AS9100, SPC, ASQ) or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Experience interfacing with customers for QA, with DCMA or other government agencies preferred. Familiarity with design phase activities, manufacturing test and evaluation, and working with electromechanical systems and mechanical hardware. Ability to develop and implement projects requiring interface with design engineers, quality engineers, and supplier/subcontract technical personnel. Familiarity with government and commercial Quality Assurance and Test & Evaluation specifications. Computer literate with hands-on experience in MS Office. Qualifications

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel occasionally. Physical requirements: ability to perform manual tasks (stoop, bend, kneel, squat) and handle small parts; vision adequate to discern positions and alignment. May require lifting up to 25 pounds and exposure to fumes, dust, chemicals, and noise within safety guidelines.
