Our workforce includes both union and nonunion teams, with a specialized equipment fleet to meet client needs for power delivery, emergency restoration, and ongoing maintenance. We are involved in challenging electric projects across the U.S., delivering transmission, distribution, and substation & switchyard services with safety, integrity, and sustainable practices. The Project Manager is directly responsible for all safety, financial, operations and administrative functions on high voltage utility projects. The role plans and executes the life cycle of large-scale linear projects, develops procedures and practices, hires and manages the project team, and coordinates with construction managers, schedulers, and subcontractors. This position requires leadership for the project team and close collaboration with utility customers to ensure the project’s progress and success. Salary range: $140,000 - $185,000 per year Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Proposal: Define and understand project scope; identify and supply deliverables; assist Business Development on defining project resource requirements (subcontractor or internal); manage subcontractor bid packages, communications and transmittals; responsible for pricing sheet assembly and completion; manage proposal schedule. Project Initiation: Understand complete project scope and contract; manage subcontractor selection, notification and possible re-pricing; schedule and execute project kick-off meetings with client and subcontractors. Project Execution: Develop and manage project team; create and maintain project schedule; oversee management of labor and capital resources; participate in weekly progress and strategic planning meetings; maintain project budgets and margins; approve subcontract invoices and client billing; identify, mitigate, and resolve project issues; ensure safety policies and standards are met; manage changes and change orders; report project updates and performance to Project Sponsors; oversee QA/QC of Engineering and Procurement deliverables. Project Closeout: Complete change order activity; verify material delivery, invoicing, payments; execute and close-out P.O.s; finalize testing, commissioning documentation, as-built drawings, QA/QC documents, and final customer billing; complete ECS substation closeout; achieve project file. Additional Responsibilities: Safety compliance; manage resource plans and performance data; monitor and report project financials; ensure adherence to deliverables and contractual obligations; schedule management and critical path analysis; document all project activities; contract interpretation and dispute resolution; client interfacing; provide technical support for construction planning; coordinate project-related conferences; support Substation Services and mentor Assistant Project Management resources. Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience:

Prior experience managing contracted work with Municipal and/or Investor Owned Utilities. Thorough understanding of utility industry practices/standards, operations, and contract management with emphasis on power projects. 5+ years of experience with Substation construction. Skills & Abilities:

Ability to process written documentation, work in a timely manner, stay highly organized, and interface with personnel at all levels. Proficiency in Project Controls, Earned Value Management and Risk Management is desirable. Extensive proficiency with Microsoft programs. Seniority level
