Job Description The Supply Chain Supervisor is a well-rounded supply chain leader responsible for the development and execution of the mine site's sourcing, procurement, inventory, and contract strategies. This position leads end-to-end supply chain activities and ensures alignment with operational goals, cost-efficiency targets, and business continuity objectives.

Responsibilities

Support in the development and lead execution of the site’s comprehensive supply chain strategy, encompassing procurement, sourcing, inventory management, integrated demand planning (IDP), and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships across all categories to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply.

Negotiate contracts and commercial terms that optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), mitigate risks, and align with operational priorities.

Supervise the full Contract Lifecycle Management process from initiation through renewal, ensuring compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Oversee material & inventory management and warehouse operations to maintain material availability, accuracy, and optimal working capital utilization.

Drive Integrated Demand Planning (IDP) initiatives to synchronize supply with operational forecasts, budgets, and maintenance schedules—leveraging experience in mobile and process maintenance to minimize expedited purchases and excess inventory.

Champion and implement process improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions to enhance efficiency, transparency, and service levels.

Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users and suppliers; build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), report on total cost of ownership (TCO) savings, and ensure alignment with corporate and site-level objectives.

Support, directly or indirectly, transactional procurement activities including the creation and management of Service Orders, RFQs, RFPs, and other transactional activities to effectively meet business requirements.

Provide monthly reporting to management on KPIs, cost savings, successes, and challenges, with direct updates to the CCV Supply Chain Manager.

Support and/or lead additional initiatives and projects as assigned by the CCV Supply Chain Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.

7+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, with expertise spanning procurement, sourcing, inventory and warehouse management, IDP, and CLM.

Proven success supporting field operations in Mining, Oil & Gas, and Construction, effectively navigating volatile environments and shifting operational priorities.

Skilled in SAP or equivalent enterprise systems; experience with Midas is a bonus.

Led procurement and sourcing teams to deliver cost savings and optimize TCO through strategic supplier negotiations, category management, and process improvement.

Implemented IDP strategies that aligned supply with maintenance schedules, optimized inventory levels, minimized expedited purchases, and reduced working capital, thereby lowering TCO.

Streamlined CLM processes, reducing contract cycle times, enhancing compliance, and improving supplier accountability and renewal visibility.

Managed competitive RFP processes to secure high-performing suppliers with favorable contract terms.

Strong leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and drive strategy.

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Comfortable managing cross-functional teams and initiatives with minimal direction.
