Signia Aerospace is a global, integrated provider of high-performance systems and specialized components for the aerospace industry. Signia operates two complementary business segments: Thermal Management and Mission Systems. Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA, is a leading provider of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters. This is a union position covered under a collective bargaining agreement. Position

Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite) | Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm Starting pay is $23.75 per hour per the union contract. The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and an FAA-regulated drug test is required. Responsibilities

Prepare equipment for proper packaging, labeling, and shipment of helicopter hoists and cargo winches in accordance with quality standards. Utilize hand tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and various packaging materials with boxes and crates while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Process and prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling. Ensure bills of lading and paperwork are completed for freight and logistics shipments. Unload incoming shipments and assist with inventory movement. Maintain compliance with domestic and international shipping rules, regulations, and customs requirements. Train and support warehouse staff on proper shipping procedures and regulations. Monitor product handling and packaging to minimize damage during transit. Acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and certifications to effectively perform job duties. Maintain tools, materials, and the work area in a clean and organized condition. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

This position requires the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to complete inspection reports and understand safety and quality standards. High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of aerospace or automotive industry experience. Graduation from an aerospace or automotive technical program can substitute for experience. U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status). 1-3 years of shipping and packaging experience in aerospace is strongly preferred. Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods due to the nature of the job. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from peers, leads, and supervisors. Strong communication, organizational, and intermediate computer skills. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift materials regularly. What’s In It For You
