Water/Wastewater Project Manager / Sr. Design Engineer role at Burgess & Niple. Responsibilities
Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects. Projects may include designs of wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and/or studies of wastewater and water systems. Coordinate with B&N project teams, internally and externally. Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management. Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process. Promote a positive team environment that enhances our exceptional corporate culture. Maintain quality control of services and deliverables. Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited engineering program. Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana is a plus. 8 to 20 years of related water/wastewater experience. Self-motivated and adaptable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment. Project management experience a plus. Treatment process knowledge and experience is a plus. Hydraulic modeling of collection systems and/or distribution systems is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
