Job Overview
Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, the Attorney - Compliance Manager will work with subject matter experts in identifying and interpreting regulations for impacts to the Company. The Attorney - Compliance Manager is responsible for managing the Company Compliance Program which includes regulatory review, records information and the management of change process for the Company. The attorney will work with compliance teams supporting the Company’s compliance program. The Company’s compliance program covers a wide variety of laws, rules and regulations dealing with the FERC, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DOL and other federal and state agencies.
Responsibilities
Assist with audits performed by external agencies and partners.
Assist the General Counsel on diverse matters affecting day‑to‑day business operations.
Research and analyze regulations for impacts on the Company’s compliance program.
Skills
Exhibit characteristics that align with corporate leadership and core values.
Listen well and utilize information.
Possess and apply specialized knowledge unique to the organization using common methods and principles.
Analyze information for progressively complex problem resolution.
Demonstrate appropriate leadership style in varying circumstances.
Professional Qualifications
3‑5 years in regulatory compliance preferably for an energy company.
Experience as a records information specialist is a plus.
Experience with Open Text and/or other RIM software is a plus.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
Experience working with the state and federal regulatory agencies is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented and able to multi‑task.
Active membership and good standing in at least one state bar.

Attorney with 3‑5 years’ experience preferably with energy compliance experience.
Experience with DOT, environmental regulations, DOL and FERC compliance a plus.
