Supports branch, district and national HC/Pharma profitable growth. Provides leadership for branch HC/Pharma activities and supports tenders, pricing, customer service, and quality assurance. Responsibilities
Meet or exceed operational budgets within agreed timelines, while maintaining or improving margins. Monitor, measure, and report all operational issues, opportunities, and development plans and provide progress reports to the immediate manager monthly. Plan, supervise and oversee all Pharma import and export operations daily. Manage and develop direct reporting staff. Conduct performance appraisals, address training needs, and develop staff to meet business and GDP requirements. Recruit Pharma department staff according to HR policies and budgeted headcount; maintain job descriptions. Ensure adequate staffing for departmental activities, considering business fluctuations; oversee planning and management of the department. Ensure effective communication and training with direct reporting staff to implement and adhere to QHSE and GDP policies and procedures. Develop positive relationships with key clients and offices; address issues and ensure appropriate action. Establish and maintain strong communication with key account managers, contract managers, and 3rd party vendors (Airlines, Packaging, Trucking, Storage). Control and maintain import and export checks; identify potential issues early and develop solutions to minimize delays. Manage and develop SOPs and KPIs for HC/Pharma customers. Qualifications
Four-year college degree preferred. 5-7 years of Freight Forwarding experience. 3-5 years of HC/Pharma forwarding experience. Systems proficiency: MS Office, TEAMS, Cargo Wise. GDP trained with in-depth knowledge of Cold-Chain Solutions. Skills: ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, present information effectively, perform basic math, and apply common sense to carry out instructions. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. What We Have to Offer
