Sr. Sourcing Staff Manager role based in Twinsburg, Ohio (just outside Cleveland). Reuter-Stokes designs, develops and manufactures sensor technology to provide precision measurements in harsh environments for critical industries including energy, homeland security, space exploration and more. The team works across collaboration with physicists, mechanical, electrical, chemical and manufacturing engineers, quality experts and technicians to develop and deploy sensors globally. Develop and maintain supplier relationships (indirect and direct) and negotiate supplier agreements for pricing, supply, terms and conditions, monitoring progress to optimize value including total cost of ownership. Develop a sourcing strategy based on single and sole source mitigation and vendor value. Lead supply chain efforts for end of life and obsolescence. Lead supplier quality engineering people and processes. Visit key vendors regularly and develop new strategic vendors that fit business needs; perform supplier visits to evaluate performance and maintain relationships as needed. Lead vendor qualification and surveillance across functions, including developing an effective supplier scoring system. Initiate and maintain supplier agreements to facilitate supplier sustainability and risk mitigation. Manage KPIs related to inflation, deflation, and tariffs; implement programs to minimize business exposure; implement additional KPIs as needed to meet objectives. Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to optimize SAP, ensure forecasts are in place and accurate, and part updates are current and maintained; develop a standard cadence for master data review. Support engineering and technology groups in New Product Development and supplier selection for sustainable sourcing in future products. Communicate and collaborate internally and externally to optimize business performance. Lead a team of direct reports including sourcing specialists, buyers, and supplier quality engineers. Comply with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in supply chain management or similar field. 10+ years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management in industrial environments or equivalent, including in-depth knowledge of sourcing and supply chain management. Proven experience with manufacturing and distribution systems (ERP/MRP), strong supplier development and negotiating skills; SAP experience preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills. Experience reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions of supply chain agreements. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access). Willingness to travel for supplier visits (domestic and international; 30% annually). Results-oriented self-starter with excellent leadership skills. Experience working in highly regulated environments (nuclear, medical, food, etc.). Ability to develop, learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and programs as needed. Experience leading a team of sourcing experts including strategic sourcing partners, supplier quality engineers, and buyers. Preferred qualifications
Masters degree in supply chain management. APICS certification. SAP ERP/MRP experience. Experience sourcing in the nuclear industry (power generation and defense). Nuclear safety experience. Work preferences
