As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing and streamlining the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering high-quality products to our customers. Your expertise will be key in developing and executing strategies that encompass procurement, planning, materials management, and logistics. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, using market trend analysis and customer demand insights to forecast inventory needs and optimize production schedules.

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities; negotiate favorable contracts; and foster strong supplier relationships to enhance collaboration and performance.

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, specifying product types, timing, and quantities, while aligning these schedules with production capacity and resource availability.

Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment to reduce carrying costs while overseeing warehouse operations, including the storage, handling, and distribution of goods.

Develop and optimize transportation and distribution plans to ensure timely product delivery, coordinating logistics activities such as shipping, receiving, and transportation management.

Identify and implement process improvements and lean practices within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

Collaborate closely with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and coordinated efforts to address supply chain challenges and promote best practices.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance—focusing on delivery times, order accuracy, and cost savings—and prepare reports and presentations for senior management on performance metrics and improvement initiatives.

Identify potential supply chain risks, such as supply disruptions, demand fluctuations, and regulatory changes, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure business continuity.

Evaluate and implement supply chain management software to enhance visibility and efficiency, leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making and process improvements.

Promote and implement sustainable supply chain practices to minimize environmental impact while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.

Proven experience in strategic planning, production planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field required; an MBA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.

Extensive experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including daily use for data entry, reporting, and process management; ability to leverage ERP functionality to improve efficiency and accuracy across business operations.

Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or similar are advantageous.
