Assistant Resident Care Director

include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensure compliance with standards of business conduct and regulatory guidelines. Possess at least a high school diploma or GED. Work well with peers, maintaining compassion and dignity for residents, and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights. Be available for call back during emergencies if needed. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Administer and document medication and treatments accurately. Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. Report changes in resident's condition promptly to the Resident Care Director. Assist residents with lifts, moves, and transports safely. Respond courteously to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff. Follow residents’ care plans and contribute to care planning. Promote a homelike environment through effective communication. Understand and uphold residents’ rights, reporting any violations or abuse. Drive the company vehicle as required. Follow safety and infection control protocols. Perform tasks like vital signs checks, weight measurements, and specimen collection. Ensure high-quality, compassionate care and service. Report occupational exposures and work-related injuries immediately. Complete required training and participate in emergency drills and plans. Assist with resident evacuation during emergencies. Maintain confidentiality and report policy breaches or abuse. Support residents’ social and community connections and coordinate services from external providers. Supervise and orient staff, support wellness and fall prevention programs, and participate in staff and family meetings. Attend marketing events, assist in staffing and budget management, and support QA activities. REQUIREMENTS Annual health requirements: Negative TB skin test verification annually. Physical and sensory requirements: Mobility throughout the workday. Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress. Good vision and hearing (or with prosthetics). Meet health policies including medical exams. Work effectively with residents, including assisting in emergency evacuations.
