Location and work arrangements : Remote roles can sit in AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA and WV. Remote status and role locations are subject to change. Relocation is not provided. Employees within a 90-minute radius of Oak Brook, IL are expected to follow in-office guidelines (4 days per month minimum, 10 am–2 pm; 1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions. Job Summary & Responsibilities The Segment Marketing Manager aligns company products and services with market needs and trends. You will develop and execute marketing strategies to drive product adoption, engagement, and revenue growth, partner with product marketing, marketing activation, and sales teams, maintain market profiles, and lead product packaging and promotion. You will analyze trends, compliance, and buyer behavior to guide strategy. This role includes market research, positioning and promotion, campaign design, budgeting and forecasting, sales enablement, channel partner engagement, and program management. You will collaborate with channel partners, attend live events, and lead webinars to educate the market. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B marketing background, excellent communication, and a track record of growth in targeted segments using in-house and agency resources. Core Responsibilities Market Research & Testing: Identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within specified verticals; analyze data to inform strategic decisions and growth opportunities. Positioning and Promotion: Develop and implement positioning strategies; create promotional materials and campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement. Campaign Design: Design and guide integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels with strong content and messaging. Program Management: Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies; report progress to stakeholders. Content Creation: Produce content with in-house teams, agencies, and vendors (case studies, bylines, ads, emails, landing pages, social, blogs, etc.). Sales Enablement: Provide market-facing assets and packaging to empower sales. Channel Activation: Collaborate with sales channel partners on co-marketing programs. Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers and gather feedback to inform product and marketing strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with product, sales, and other departments for successful execution. Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, forecast ROI, and align with business goals. Stakeholder Management: Interface between marketing and sales/account management for the assigned business unit. Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience: 5+ years in Business Marketing or Growth Marketing in a B2B environment. Experience in financial services and/or healthcare preferred. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Skills & Abilities: Proven track record of successful B2B marketing campaigns. Strong organizational and prioritization skills; results-driven. Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of channels including direct mail, digital advertising, social, webinars, conferences, etc. Other Requirements: Occasional travel (10%–20%) Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk with computer use Pay Range : $106,000 - $130,000 per year Compensation & Benefits : Compensation varies by location, skills, and experience and may include incentive/bonus opportunities.
