RETS Associates, on behalf of its Client, a privately-held, well-capitalized real estate owner and developer, is seeking a SVP, Development (SVP) to be located in Northwest Arkansas. The SVP, Development will focus on several mixed-use and multifamily developments throughout the region and should have a strategic and hands-on approach to development. The SVP should have experience in placemaking and master-planned developments, and a strong track record in mixed-use development.
Overview The position requires a strategic mindset towards development opportunities, analysis and planning, project oversight, financial management and strong team leadership. The role is focused on driving the continued revitalization of the community by executing developments with significant impact.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership in identifying, evaluating and executing mixed-use and multifamily redevelopment opportunities in Northwest Arkansas.
Oversee development processes from concept through construction, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Manage financial performance, budgets, and investor/partner communications.
Lead, mentor and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
Represent the company with public authorities and community stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in multifamily real estate development with a proven track record of success.
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on off-market development opportunities.
Extensive experience navigating greenlight processes and securing public approvals.
Hands-on understanding of construction processes.
Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
Collaborative mindset, team-oriented.
