Senior Manager, Procurement, Capital Services & Solutions
Join Bristol Myers Squibb as a Senior Manager in the Procurement team for Capital Services & Solutions. This role supports major capital projects (>$25M) across the globe, collaborating closely with engineering, construction, finance, and quality stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and secure optimal value for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with construction managers, architects, engineers, project controls, contractors, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal/regulatory requirements.
Develop procurement execution plans and strategies, including sole-source assessments, RFQ/RFP preparation, and cost estimation.
Lead risk assessment and mitigation, maintaining a procurement risk register during pre‑construction and throughout project lifecycle.
Monitor project budgets, cost controls, and payments, co‑managing change orders and variations.
Maintain accurate contract records and documentation in Autodesk Construction Cloud platforms.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and sponsors, providing status updates and resolving issues.
Support health and safety compliance in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience on capital or construction projects.
Proficiency with digital collaboration platforms, especially Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $110,000 – $180,000, with additional incentive and stock opportunities depending on eligibility. BMS offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
