Pape-Dawson . This position will lead the efforts for Schematic design and PS&E for highway projects for the Transportation division in the DFW area. Responsibilities
Lead project teams and efforts in the accomplishment of project/task assignments related to schematic design and PS&E for highway projects. Provide guidance and direction to project design team for various tasks within the scope of a project, including training and supervising project team members. Lead multi-discipline support consultant teams in project development and design. Participate in developing innovative design techniques, support tools, and project delivery methods. Present new ideas and techniques to clients and stakeholders. Support proposal development, project scoping, and client relationship development. Attend design review meetings and interact with clients and support staff. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas. 15 years of multi-discipline experience in schematic design and PS&E, with at least 8 years managing projects from conception to completion, preferably in the DFW market. Ability to mentor project team members technically and professionally. Exceptional ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. Working knowledge of MicroStation, GeoPak, MS Excel, and scheduling. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, at all organizational levels. Availability to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Additional Information
