Associate Director - Legal Marketing, BD & Communications Recruitment - US. We are delighted to be supporting a global law firm to add a senior business development manager to their growing US business development team, this role will be the lead US business development professional for their private equity practice, working with the global lead based in London. The team have exciting investment coming into their US BD function, so they are looking to bring in entrepreneurial business development professionals to help accelerate growth of their New York office. We welcome engagement from individuals currently at Senior Manager level who would be excited to join the firm on this journey in a truly global role; we would also like to speak with managers who are looking for their first step up to senior management level. A prior knowledge of private equity within a law firm setting would be ideal, however we are open to individuals coming from a finance or corporate background who would be interested in specializing within this area. Responsibilities
Take the lead of putting together the marketing and business development plans for the private equity practice, being the main point of contact in the US market for private equity. Work with the Global leadership team to drive forward client development program for the firms largest global private equity clients. This will also include coordinating client feedback to help the firm strengthen their established relationships. Coordinate high profile events and sponsorship opportunities for the private equity group, working with the partners to report on effective ROI. In tandem with the firms central marketing and communications function, coordinate and deliver firm wide private equity marketing campaigns and thought leadership opportunities. Be proactive working with the partners on continuing to establish the firms private equity standing within the US market. Qualifications
Previous senior management level experience in business development within a legal or professional services environment preferred (candidates at Senior Manager level looking to step up will be considered). Knowledge of private equity is highly desirable; however, candidates from finance or corporate backgrounds who wish to specialize in private equity will be considered. Location
