Transportation Planning PM

ATG | DCCM . We are seeking a Transportation Planning Project Manager to manage and execute transportation planning studies for a variety of public sector clients throughout the US. Types of studies include, but are not limited to: Metropolitan Transportation Plans Short-, Mid-, and Long-Range Transportation and Mobility Plans Transportation Master Plans Transit Development Plans High-Capacity Transit (BRT, LRT, Commuter Rail, etc.) Studies Corridor and Feasibility Studies Responsibilities: Utilize planning data, analysis, and report products to complete transportation system planning studies, corridor studies, environmental analyses, and other activities. Analyze geographic information system (GIS) data prepared by others. Engage with clients and project teams in planning and engineering. Manage transportation planning projects, including transit planning, operations analysis, demand forecasting, travel pattern analysis, traffic simulation, and development of transportation alternatives. Participate in public meetings to explain proposals, gather feedback, and achieve consensus. Required Qualifications: 7-10 years of relevant transportation planning and project management experience. Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Transportation Engineering, Geography, Economics, Public Administration, or related field. Proven project management skills. Strong communication skills, capable of public speaking in small groups. Understanding of multimodal transportation planning principles and land use-transportation linkages. Ability to incorporate sustainability principles into planning. Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree in related fields. AICP certification or similar professional credentials. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and graphic programs like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
