Project Manager- Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Garver’s Water Design Center in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to advance water infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will lead a team of multi‑discipline design engineers and CAD technicians focused on production of design phase deliverables including reports, studies, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, details and specifications. The Project Manager must work closely with clients to exceed expectations of service.

Responsibilities

Design and manage water distribution projects including pump stations, storage facilities and distribution mains.

Design and manage wastewater collection projects including lift stations, force mains and gravity sewers.

Pipeline inspection and rehabilitation.

Water and wastewater master planning.

Coordinate with other support disciplines, regional offices, regulating agencies, and quality assurance and control.

Periodic travel for projects, conferences, marketing, and other duties.

Qualifications

Technically competent with water or wastewater engineering and civil engineering.

Manage scope, budget, and schedule for a team of multi‑disciplinary project engineers, design engineers, and CAD technicians.

Manage multiple projects concurrently.

Manage project budgets including development of detailed project instructions, scope of work, level of effort, and man‑hour estimates.

Responsible for time management and product quality.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project accounting.

Provide written and oral project reporting to clients and Team Leader.

Prepare and execute Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans.

Lead internal and external project workshops.

Maintain continuing education and learning based on project needs.

Construction management, excluding construction observation, for local projects.

About Garver's Water Design Center Staffed with multi‑disciplined engineers, scientists, designers, and technicians. The WDC provides high‑performance teams for technical expertise in all project areas to successfully deliver sound solutions and customized quality designs. The WDC brings together every unique discipline necessary to design custom solutions for water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure, including civil, environmental, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, construction, applications, and operations.

Requirements

Must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Must have six or more years of similar technical experience.

Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any state and be willing to obtain NCEES record for multiple states.

Experience responsible for designs, including detailed plans and specifications, for water and wastewater projects.

Strong knowledge base of engineering principles related to water and wastewater infrastructure.

Basic understanding of multi‑disciplined practices required for implementation of water/wastewater infrastructure improvements.

Strong communication skills.

Passionate about client service and the water industry.

Strong work ethic.

Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

Water and wastewater consulting experience.

Experience with ESRI ArcGIS.

Experience with Autodesk Revit.
