The Business Intelligence Analyst III supports the mission of OCHIN by designing, developing, testing, documenting, maintaining, and troubleshooting reports across a broad platform of business intelligence tools. As a member of OCHIN’s Population Health/Reporting Analytics department, the role supports the full lifecycle of projects, particularly requirements definitions, quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing phases. This role requires an above-average ability and desire to communicate in email, via JIRA tickets, and over the phone, as well as to effectively balance multiple competing priorities. Responsibilities

Responsible for the execution of full reporting lifecycle from design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Complete work towards closing tickets, including triage, research, and communication with OCHIN members Develop and update technical documentation for reporting systems Work and manage JIRA tickets independently Lead and drive requirement gathering meetings with experts in a variety of fields and define systems scope and objectives of business requirements, including documentation of requirements (i.e. use cases) and relevant translation into system requirement specifications Display knowledge of the underlying language of OCHIN’s data systems and OCHIN’s business intelligence toolset (SSMS, Epic Cogito [Radar and Workbench], Business Objects, Crystal Reports) Design, build, test, and document technical work products Support internal and external reporting needs of the organization Participate in process improvement efforts Pursue relevant Epic proficiencies/certification where determined by OCHIN’s business needs Act as a technical liaison between users of the OCHIN reporting systems and the OCHIN technical reporting environment Act as a consultant to members by training end-users and providing ongoing technical support, service, and education Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience preferred Epic Cogito or Clarity Certification is Required Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a Healthcare, Information Technology, or related field, required. Experience in a Healthcare setting, Ambulatory or Acute Care settings High technical proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and associated tools like Management Studio required, including developing database objects such as Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures Display knowledge of the underlying language of the assigned data system and business intelligence toolset (SSMS, Radar Dashboard & Workbench, Business Objects, Crystal Reports) Experience in working with others to identify, define and analyze end user requirements and timelines designed to meet business needs Experience optimizing, altering, and maintaining complex reports Experience with Epic Cogito SQL and Reporting Workbench Extract is preferred Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment to understand fit with OCHIN's core competencies Work Location & Travel

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home, and many positions support on-site work for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined by OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position. OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. For this role, the typical offer range falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range. Pay information by position level is listed below. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data. Level I: Typically pays between the minimum and 30th percentile of the band Level II: Typically pays between the 15th ($96,875) and 35th ($115,505) percentile of the band Level III: Typically pays between the 30th and 55th percentile of the band
