Senior Grants and Development Manager for ICWC Los Angeles The Immigration Center for Women and Children (ICWC) seeks a full-time Grants and Development Manager. ICWC is a non-profit legal organization providing free and affordable immigration services to underrepresented immigrants in California and Nevada. ICWC strives to provide security and stability for children who are abused, abandoned, or neglected and for immigrants who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. ICWC primarily works with federal immigration laws that allow immigrants to apply for work authorization and permanent residency.

Position Summary Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Grants and Development Manager will be instrumental in driving successful stewardship and expanding ICWC’s grant portfolio. They will manage the grants and development team of three people to facilitate the administration of several government and foundation contracts. They will spearhead the research and prioritization of prospective funders and grant opportunities across all donor types, while also managing funder relationships and tracking deliverables to report on impact metrics. The role will involve overseeing donation processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, the role will coordinate the creation of public-facing fundraising materials that effectively communicate our organization's impact and resonate with our supporters.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with the Grants Manager to oversee grant reporting in accordance with funder requirements, deadlines, and ensuring contract compliance

Administration of ICWC's grant making process throughout all stages including researching, receiving, assessing, tracking, documenting all funding inquiries and proposals

Ensure that submitted documentation meets all requirements while maintaining accurate and timely records of grant making and programmatic activities

Work with the Leadership Team to gather information necessary to submit applications in an accurate, complete, and timely manner

Collaborate with the Executive Director and Finance Manager on grant budgeting and invoicing

Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of an organization-wide grants strategy

Thoroughly research and prioritize prospective funders across all donor types

Exhibit understanding of organizational history and current initiatives

Brainstorm and ensure the timely creation of public-facing fundraising collateral that speaks to the organization's growing impact

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and related professional work experience

5 years of experience in a similar grants administration role with supervisory experience

Strong written communication skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals

Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to problem solve

Strong proof-reading and editing skills, meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness

Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments, efficiently delegate and collaborate with team members, meet deadlines, and be flexible when last-minute priorities arise
