Overview Procurement College Co-op at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing. The role reports to the Direct Material team at the World Headquarters facility in Detroit, MI.

Job Summary AAM is looking for a dedicated, self-motivated individual to fill our Procurement Co-op position.

Responsibilities

Support Buyers and Strategists for specific categories within the Global Procurement Organization

Review internal reports (spreadsheets) to assist in consolidation of the supply base and ensure accuracy of contract details

Assist internal users with purchase order updates and PPAP initiation

Manage projects as they are provided by the Procurement team

Visit suppliers and AAM facilities with the Procurement/SQE team as time permits

Work closely with other departments within the organization

Obtain knowledge of department and its operations

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills And Education

Must be enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program

Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week year-round

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Graduation date May 2027 or later preferred

Familiarity with basic supply chain / purchasing principles

Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship

Prior work/intern/Co-op experience in Supply Chain is preferred
