Pegasus Link Constructors is a fully integrated joint venture made up of Fluor and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. with over 17 years of experience working together. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. The project is a design-build construction project that will improve the capacity and operational efficiency for the portion of I-635 north and east of Dallas, from east of U.S. Highway 75 to I-30. We are currently seeking candidates to fulfill an Asphalt Paving Foreman opening. The Foreman is responsible for providing supervision and coordination of workers. Responsibilities include scheduling work to meet deadlines in a safe manner and to meet estimated costs. This person must maintain a good working relationship with inspectors, developers, vendors, and subcontractors. Essential Job Functions Manage on-site fleet asphalt paving equipment Execute Look Ahead Schedules Purchasing of materials, tools, and supplies Manage craftsmen and laborers, asphalt paving equipment, and materials Logistics planning Scheduling construction daily and weekly Execute project work plans Manage crews productively and efficiently Training crew members Maintain a safe working environment Qualifications Experience with overseeing asphalt paving work, demo, grading, cement treated base, lime and/or other related disciplines required Highway construction experience required Extensive knowledge in asphalt paving equipment operation and working in and adjacent to traffic required Ability to communicate effectively with management, crews, coworkers, client, vendors, subcontractors, and visitors TxDOT construction experience preferred Design Build Experience preferred About us Balfour Beatty US is an industry-leading provider of general contracting, at-risk construction management, and design-build services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
