Support and maintain Ion Beam Etch and Deposition equipment in a high-volume wafer manufacturing cleanroom environment. Demonstrate strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and computer systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and process capability. Provide technical training to team members and perform equipment audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency. Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules and procedures. Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance procedures. Participate in equipment installation, set-up, and calibration processes. Assist in developing and updating maintenance procedures and documentation. Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and increase productivity. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve equipment-related issues and source necessary parts. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with cleanroom standards. This position requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts, overtime, and weekend work to support our 24/7 manufacturing operations. Qualifications
Technical degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. Strong hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including RF systems, vacuum technology, and computer hardware/software. Proficient in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools, and working with control systems/PLCs. Experienced in SPC, equipment audits, and training maintenance personnel. Effective communicator and team player, with flexibility for shift work and overtime. 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and practices. Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLCs, and automation equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed. CMRT certification preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures. Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Experience with Ion Beam Etch and Deposition equipment. Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and standards. Familiarity with wafer manufacturing processes. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Additional Information
