45 hours per week with flexible daily start and end times We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of automated control systems for machinery and industrial processes. Your work will be critical to ensuring that our production runs safely, efficiently, and with optimal performance. The ideal candidate is an innovative, technically adept problem-solver with a comprehensive understanding of control systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing industrial automation equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and Servo systems to optimize machine performance Develop and support ICS Network infrastructure and operational data collection for real-time production monitoring Maintain electrical documentation including schematics, specifications, and manuals Support maintenance teams with electrical troubleshooting and train personnel on new controls Manage capital projects and coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment meets design specifications Coordinate internal and external personnel on the installation and commissioning activities for new and upgraded equipment Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering Minimum of 3 years as an electrical control systems designer and PLC programmer in industrial automation Proficiency with programming and implementation of motor drives, HMIs, servos, machine vision, and industrial networking Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical control systems Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a manufacturing environment Preferred experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Rockwell Automation Working knowledge of machine safety standards (NEC, NFPA 70E/79, ANSI B11) Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to read, write, and perform calculations Location-Specific Requirements
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
