Clinical Therapist I/II - Behavioral Health (Multiple Locations)
Riverside University Health System Behavioral Health (RUHS) seeks Clinical Therapist I (unlicensed) and Clinical Therapist II (licensed) professionals to serve patients across multiple community and crisis settings in Riverside County. Positions include temporary, permanent, and per-diem roles with flexible scheduling.
Core responsibilities include:
Conduct individualized, family, and group counseling for clients experiencing mental health disorders.
Develop treatment plans, perform assessments, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations.
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, community resources, and crisis management services.
Provide crisis intervention, involuntary hospitalization procedures, and ongoing case management.
Supervise or provide guidance to unlicensed staff as required.
Participate in clinical conferences, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum qualifications:
Master’s degree in clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related behavioral science.
Valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences registration: Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor for Clinical Therapist I; Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor for Clinical Therapist II.
Minimum two years of mental health clinical experience (individual, group, crisis, or telehealth).
Current valid California driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
Strong communication skills, team orientation, and commitment to culturally responsive care.
