Overview Shift: PRN, as needed. You will be a level II PRN, which requires you to work a minimum of 24 hours per month, 4 weekends per year and 2 holidays per year. Looking for someone with 1st or 2nd shift availability and option of working weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.

Verify patient identification, obtain relevant medical history, and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding and comfort.

Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Adhere to all MRI safety guidelines, including screening for contraindications and maintaining proper magnet room safety procedures.

Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists to determine if additional views or sequences are required.

Participate in continuing education and training to maintain certification and stay current with advancements in MRI technology.

Qualifications Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Graduate of an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Experience

2 years of prior MRI experience.

Certification/License

Current Radiologic Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).

Current MRI certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or six months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.

Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire.
