A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a full school year in Clifton Park, NY. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide speech and language support to students, helping them improve communication skills in a collaborative educational environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment strategies.
Participate in professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active Speech-Language Pathology license.
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
Familiarity with various treatment approaches, including AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage caseload efficiently with organized record-keeping and time management.

Full-time with guaranteed hours weekly
