The Mammography Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program required. One year experience in Mammography preferred. Certifications: ARRT in Radiography and Mammography (RT(R)(M)) required; ARRT in Bone Densitometry (RT(R)(M)(BD)) preferred. Applicable state license required. Skills: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication, adaptability to patient age, ability to interpret patient care needs, operate Mammography equipment. Job Opening ID:
