The primary responsibility of a KEIS provider is to evaluate and provide treatment for pediatric patients birth to three years with needs in physical, social-emotional, self-help, communication, and cognitive development. KEIS Providers at APT work primarily in children’s natural environments (homes, daycares, community centers, etc.) and may also work in other APT offices and contract locations, depending on counties and areas served. PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Developmental Interventionists may apply for this position. KEIS Provider Essential Duties And Responsibilities All Disciplines

Work closely with patients’ caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and to document treatment sessions as well as progress or evaluation reports in detail. Maintain professional technical competencies and upholds licensure and ethical expectations. KEIS Physical Therapist Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Requirements

Examine and evaluate children from birth to age 3 with congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions including gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises. Requirements: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and an applicable and current unrestricted license to practice or in the process of obtaining license. KEIS Occupational Therapist Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Requirements

Evaluate children birth to age 3 for fine motor development, visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation differences, executive functioning skills, and more in order to determine impact on activities of daily living (ADLs), rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation. Requirements: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and an applicable and current unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license). KEIS Speech Language Pathologist Essential Duties, Responsibilities, And Requirements

Evaluate and treat children birth to age 3 for speech, language, oral motor, voice, fluency, articulation, or social communication disorders to achieve highest level of functioning and prevent regression. Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and an applicable and current unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license). KEIS Developmental Interventionist Essential Duties, Responsibilities, And Requirements

Evaluate and treat children birth to age 3 for cognitive and social interaction skills to achieve highest level of functioning and to prevent regression. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and an IECE certificate, a probationary or emergency IECE certificate, or a valid statement of eligibility for IECE certification issued by the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board, Division of Certification.
