Primary Therapist Base pay range: $75,000.00 per year. Sign‑on bonus available.

At Alsana, we provide personalized, whole‑person care for adults with eating disorders. As a Primary Therapist, you will conduct assessments, provide case management, deliver individual, family and group therapy, and offer crisis stabilization.

Schedule Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

Conduct psychosocial assessments, suicide risk assessment, and core assessment packet, and provide feedback to clients.

Deliver individual and family therapy sessions using evidence‑based interventions.

Complete documentation within established time frames (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries).

Collaborate with outpatient team to update client progress and facilitate continuity of care.

Attend weekly training and supervised sessions.

Assist direct care (observations, management of milieu conflict, and client support).

Participate in meals and snacks with clients as assigned.

Provide crisis stabilization and client “check‑ins” as needed.

Provide on‑call coverage during assigned times.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in social work, clinical counseling, or a related health discipline (ALC, LCSW, LPC, PhD).

Two years of recent related experience with eating‑disordered clients or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Eligibility for registration with the relevant professional association.

Ability to educate and provide consultation to clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and professional practice guidelines for treating eating disorders and related conditions.

Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act and Freedom of Information Act, and related policies and procedures.
