A leading environmental remediation project is seeking an
Electrical Engineer
to support key initiatives within the Direct Feed Low Activity Waste (DFLAW) Engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work on projects that range from conceptual design through full plant operations, contributing to one of the nation's most complex cleanup efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a fully competent engineer, applying professional judgment in evaluating, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques and procedures. Perform calculations, analyses, studies, and recommendations for specialized engineering segments within schedule and budget. Prepare Statements of Work, design products, procurements, and specifications. Develop and maintain productive customer and stakeholder relationships. Provide technical guidance to subcontractors to ensure correct design inputs, methodologies, and standards. Participate in cost/benefit evaluations, task planning, and schedule development. Produce high-quality engineering documents and calculations that meet stand-alone quality requirements. Collaborate as a team member on task forces and special assignments. Complete routine training, safety meetings, and administrative activities on time. Deliver assignments safely, on time, and within budget while promoting a customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) + 7 years of related experience (Higher grades require broader scope, greater responsibility, and higher performance expectations.)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a nuclear facility or other highly regulated environment.
Compensation And Benefits
Salary Range: $88,200 - $134,588, depending on experience and scope of responsibility. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; short- and long-term disability; life insurance; 401(k) with employer match; and paid time off.
