Role overview We are seeking a Field Service Specialist to provide service and support for Pall’s existing local, regional, national and Canadian customer base in the beer, wine, and spirits industry. The role includes troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and calibration of Pall equipment at customer sites, with responsibilities for sales growth, service growth and customer fulfillment. This position is part of the Americas Global Service Team and will be remote.
In this role you will have the opportunity to
Service and test systems hardware including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, mainly within the food and beverage industry.
Troubleshoot, upgrade, and update PLC and HMI software independently
Issue service reports and commissioning reports
Essential requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technical or engineering field, or military equivalent (E-6 or greater) or High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of field service experience in related field
Experience with Automation/PLC instruments, including adjustments and uploading new PLC software
Must be located near a major metropolitan airport in the CDT or EDT time zone
Travel, motor vehicle record & physical/environment requirements
Up to 85% travel (flying and/or driving) with significant overnight stays. Travel will be domestic and may be international
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, squat, kneel, ascend/descend stairs, and reach with hands and arms
Preferred experience
Experience with systems including mechanical, electrical, and instrument components such as valves, pumps, transmitters, and actuators
SAP experience
Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, offers comprehensive benefits including health care, paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k). This position is eligible for remote work arrangements where approved. The compensation range is $34.00 - $38.00 per hour, with potential bonus/incentive pay. The exact compensation is determined by the company and may change over time.
