A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support high-profile, complex projects across the U.S. This role provides technical leadership and oversight of electrical systems from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring best value and performance for clients. Qualifications

Required: 8+ years of experience with a mechanical/electrical contractor or general contractor 2+ years of experience in MEP estimating Proficiency in interpreting electrical design drawings and specifications for code compliance and constructability Ability to develop scope of work documents for electrical and low-voltage subcontractor pricing Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and associated construction costs Excellent communication skills for collaboration with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management Familiarity with REVIT and AutoCAD Experience with estimating software Proficiency in construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, AutoDesk) Skilled in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite Current OSHA 30 certification and CPR/First Aid training Location & Travel

This is a travel-based position supporting national operations. The current assignment is with per diem provided at the max GSA rates. Travel home every three weeks (long weekend) is included. Project duration may extend beyond two years. Responsibilities

Design Review & Preconstruction: Analyze electrical and CSA design drawings and specifications Identify code compliance issues and constructability challenges Evaluate system options to align with project goals MEP Contractor Selection Assist in identifying qualified MEP subcontractors Develop and issue RFPs and scopes of work Review proposals and scope cards for completeness Lead pre-bid meetings and interviews Assess voluntary alternates and provide selection recommendations Draft and manage MEP subcontract agreements Construction Phase Support Participate in project team meetings to review MEP pricing and scope coordination Oversee submittals, procurement, manpower planning, and compliance Support the development of CPM schedules for electrical work, including commissioning Plan and coordinate critical system shutdowns Conduct site inspections to identify deficiencies Perform quantity takeoffs and estimate analysis Propose value engineering opportunities Commissioning & Closeout Collaborate with third-party commissioning agents Support documentation and log completion Coordinate owner training and transitional services Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $200,000.00/yr.
