Clark Nexsen is seeking an Electrical Engineer (PE) – Power and Energy who is passionate about energy performance and sustainability in the built environment to join our Energy Consulting Team. Our team provides design and consulting services related to decarbonization, renewable energy, microgrids, and energy efficiency projects. The Electrical Engineer (PE) – Power and Energy will be responsible for performing, directing, and supervising all aspects of Electrical Engineering on multi-discipline energy design projects, with expertise in electrical systems and equipment selection for solar, BESS, power generation, microgrid systems, and grid management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performing electrical engineering design, including power distribution, as a Senior or Lead Engineer. Meeting with clients to validate scope of work for energy design electrical services. Overseeing and coordinating electrical engineering projects within multi-disciplinary teams. Leading, supervising, and mentoring electrical staff and ensuring quality control. Preparing energy electrical project documentation and supporting during bidding and construction phases. Providing technical guidance on power systems, microgrid design, and grid interconnection. Managing projects from conception to implementation, ensuring regulatory compliance. Required Skills:

Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time. Leadership and mentoring abilities. Design experience with medium voltage power systems, microgrids, and renewable energy sources. Required Experience:

Graduation from an ABET-accredited engineering program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Professional Engineering licensure in Electrical Engineering is required. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within an energy-related engineering firm. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and software such as SKM Power Tools, AutoCAD, and Revit. Working Conditions:
