Northrop Grumman is seeking a
Test Engineer 4
who will work on multiple programs for test and evaluation. This role will be working alongside engineers, PMs, and Ops to deliver a system for flight tests and other external tests. They will also be working in labs to prep for test events and upcoming flights. This candidate will also have customer interaction to coordinate events on government facilities. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test and Evaluation Engineering department, Advanced Weapons division located in Northridge, CA.
Job Responsibilities
Creating, validating, and verifying test plan, procedures and test reports
Develop solutions to test issues
Troubleshoot failures related to the unit under test
Use different applications in order to help perform analysis
Perform tests by following ATPs or technical memos to perform evaluations.
Work with internal and external customers to define and document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning including acquisition, processing, and analysis to satisfy test objectives
Collaborate with different functions to achieve progress in projects
Take part in TRRs, FRRs, and other reviews
Present statuses and blockers to upper leadership
Basic Qualifications
BS with 8 years of experience; MS with 6 years experience in related field.
Experience with using different test equipment, i.e. oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMM, signal generator, power supplies
Experience in reading electrical and mechanical schematics
Experience in system integration, qualification test and requirements tracking
Digital and analog circuit troubleshooting
Able to communicate effectively and clearly to present technical approaches and findings
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment
Able to work independently with minimal direction and act as team lead for larger test efforts
Previous work on DoD military development and production programs
Knowledge in environmental stress screening procedures
Troubleshooting in relation to RCCAs

Primary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00
