Water Wastewater Engineering Specialist
to join our Water/Wastewater division
in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
Production of contract documents including plans and specifications
Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
Perform pump calculations and develop system curves for sizing pumps.
Water and Wastewater treatment process engineering and design support.
Prepare construction and design cost estimates.
Develop project specific specifications.
Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
Makes site visits during design and construction to observe construction installation.
Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.
Skills And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
Experience or specific course work in water and wastewater systems is a plus.
Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS is a plus.
Participation in WEAT/TAWWA and other professional organizations as well as joining a committee would be a plus.
Compensation $71,981.92 - $95,975.90
