We are currently seeking a dedicated NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Family Medicine. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in need. Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform physical examinations and interpret medical history. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Prescribe medications and provide treatment according to protocols. Educate patients on preventive care and wellness strategies. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs. Requirements
Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice. Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program. Strong knowledge of family medicine principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8a-4p Call Requirement:
Beeper call 2 months per year Patient Volume:
14 per day Setting:
3 school-based clinics EMR:
ECW Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreters available Must be board-certified or board-eligible Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary Medical malpractice insurance 4 CME days Paid holidays
