Endoscopy RN Job Details – Mason City, IA
Location: Mason City, IA 50401 – A thriving Iowa community known for its friendly residents, beautiful parks, and rich musical heritage. Discover rewarding nursing jobs in Mason City, Iowa. Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract (July 20, 2025 – October 18, 2025) Hours: Full-time, 36-40 hours per week Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM; 8-10 hour shifts based on department needs On Call: 1 call shift per week and 1 weekend call shift per month; holiday rotation required Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1740 - $1860 Employment Type: Travel/Contract (Locum Tenens RN job)
Endoscopy RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN experience required Current and valid BLS certification Completion of all required onboarding, competency, and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB testing) Ability to participate in on-call and holiday rotations as assigned
Travel Endoscopy RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures Monitor patient status before, during, and after endoscopy procedures Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in the endoscopy suite Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow all safety and infection control protocols Respond to on-call needs and participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
