As a Behavior Interventionist, you will be responsible for duties outlined in this job description, as well as additional responsibilities assigned by Diversify Bx. The Behavior Interventionist will deliver clinical behavior reduction programs and instruction based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles to clients in various settings, including home, community, center, and school. Responsibilities include data collection on skill acquisition and behaviors, reporting to the clinical team within 24 hours, and performing administration, case management, clinical, and communication duties. This description covers essential functions but is not exhaustive of all duties that may be assigned. Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide direct ABA services in 1:1 and group settings under supervision, utilizing ABA principles. Implement prescribed skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals. Collect data on goals during each session. Maintain client data accurately in our online platform within required timeframes. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about client progress as directed. Use safe and appropriate behavior modification strategies. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Keep the work and therapy environment clean, safe, and organized. Attend staff training and meetings to enhance ABA knowledge and skills. Achieve and maintain role-specific competencies. Reporting Relationship:

The Behavior Interventionist reports directly to the Clinical Supervision Team. Education and Certifications:

High School Diploma required Bachelor’s Degree preferred CPR or BLS Certification preferred Registered Behavior Technician credential preferred NPI Number required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Receptive to constructive feedback and willing to develop skills accordingly. Effective time management and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance in line with Diversify Bx dress code. Proficiency with technology (computers, smartphones, tablets). Ability to implement clinical protocols. Adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards as per the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to ongoing ABA training and development. Physical and Other Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Capability to assume various postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods. Comfort with sitting on the floor or standing for long durations. Willingness to hold, transport, and perform quick movements as per Behavior Intervention Plans. Reliable presence at the assigned location. Reliable phone access with internet. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within 25 miles of home. California Driver’s License preferred; if not available, must guarantee transportation to client sites via HIPAA-compliant methods. Insurance in good standing, with employee listed as a covered driver.
