Residential Counselor (Mental Health Services)
Join Vinfen as a Residential Counselor to provide direct support to people with psychiatric conditions in a residential Group Living Environment. The role involves working together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by either building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life. Responsibilities include administrating medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) and assisting people with activities of daily living, such as household chores and cooking. You will also work alongside the Clinical Program Director to implement treatment plans which are recovery-oriented, person-centered, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, culturally competent and strengths-based approaches. Salary: $23.00 / hour Schedule: Sun-Mon 12pm-10pm, Fri 12pm-10pm, Sat 8am-6pm Sign On Bonus: $3000 About Vinfen Vinfen is a nonprofit, health and human services organization and a leading provider of community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges. Preference given to bilingual/bicultural applicants and applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions. Must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months and should be able to pass a CORI, driving record, employment reference check as well as a multi-state background check.
