The Reproductive Health Assistant (RHA) I performs basic duties of a medical assistant, including maintaining medical records, logs, and inventory counts; performing routine clerical duties; performing basic lab work; and responding to patient inquiries and needs. Responsibilities
Demonstrate proficiency in providing care to patients, responding to patient needs and inquiries, and providing support to other staff. Keep accurate records and communicate with patients, staff, and volunteers in a civil, courteous, warm, and sensitive manner. Treat all people with honor, respect, and inclusivity, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, age, economic condition, or status as a qualified individual with a disability. Complete all required training for level 1 proficiencies and standards within three months. Requirements
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required. Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience preferred. Previous professional experience with family planning services, medical laboratory, and/or counseling is preferred.
